The Garner Chamber held its annual Business Expo at the Garner Methodist Church off Hwy 70 April 12, 2012. There were a variety of businesses represented. New Neighbor Welcome Services uses Social Media to promote their vendors. Joy Wilkes explains that they build their community around their vendors using Facebook, Twitter, email, website, and even text messaging.
The Fred Smith Company has a strong brand community. Kate McCollum explains they use their email marketing to gain more prospective customers. Their Facebook page keeps the community strong with regular postings. Customers are kept informed and engaged.
